Fresh fixture times confirmed

Manchester City have shuffled the schedule for a string of Barclays Women's Super League outings - and the standout date is already circled in red.

The clash with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium is set for Sunday 4 October, kicking off at 16:30. Sky Sports will carry it live in the UK, and tickets are on sale for anyone fancying a trip.

What else is moving?

City welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Joie Stadium on Sunday 18 October at 14:30, with the BBC picking up coverage. A week later, the first Manchester derby of the campaign rolls around - Sunday 25 October, 18:00, at the Progress with Unity Stadium. That's one for the diary.

Then it's a trip to the Copperjax Community Stadium on Sunday 1 November at 12:00 to face London City Lionesses, again live on Sky Sports.

Title defence already underway

City's WSL title defence kicked off yesterday, Sunday 6 September, against Birmingham City at the Joie Stadium at 14:30. No rest for champions, as they say.
