The Carabao Cup has unveiled an exciting array of fixtures for the fourth round, with intriguing matchups that promise action. Manchester United is set to face Newcastle in a highly anticipated repeat of last year's final, setting a record for the most consecutive domestic cup ties drawn at home. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Arsenal are gearing up for all-Premier League showdowns. 

In what promises to be a thrilling rematch, Newcastle is gearing up to face Manchester United, seeking to redeem themselves after last season's final defeat. Eddie Howe's side, fresh from an impressive victory over treble winners Manchester City, is looking to build on their recent successes and go one step further than their runner-up finish in the previous campaign. 

Last season's final saw Manchester United secure a 2-0 victory over Newcastle at Wembley Stadium. Now, the football world eagerly awaits this rematch to see if Newcastle can turn the tables on Erik Ten Hag’s side.

For Manchester United, the draw against Newcastle carries a significant milestone. They have been drawn to play 12 consecutive domestic cup ties at home, showcasing their formidable record at Old Trafford. The only exceptions in the last three years were a two-legged Carabao Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest, a semi-final, and a final in the FA Cup at Wembley. 

The previous record holders for consecutive home draws were Shrewsbury, who managed 11 such draws from 2017 to 2019. Manchester United's consistent home advantage in domestic cup competitions has solidified their reputation as a formidable force on their home turf. 

In other fixtures, Liverpool will travel to face Bournemouth, while Arsenal is set for a London derby against West Ham. Chelsea will take on Championship side Blackburn after defeating Brighton, and Everton, coming off two consecutive wins, will square off against Burnley, with manager Sean Dyche facing his former team.
