Barcelona dismantled Granadilla Tenerife 5-0 in their opening fixture of the 2026-27 Primera División Femenina season - and now they travel to Sevilla on Friday evening. The reigning champions, who also lifted the UEFA Champions League with a 4-0 demolition of Lyon in May, look every bit as ruthless as last term.
Sevilla opened with a disciplined 1-0 away win at Deportivo de la Coruña, keeping a clean sheet. That result was encouraging after a difficult end to last season that saw them lose three of their final five league matches. They finished eighth with 41 points in 2025-26, scoring only 33 goals across 30 games - a stark contrast to Barcelona's 130.
